Website redesign
Website redesigns for businessesthat have outgrown their current site.
Send us your current website and we’ll show you the first three things we’d change. No call required.
Sound familiar?
The website is letting the business down.
These are the reasons established businesses come to us for a redesign.
Dated visual design
The site looks like the year it was built. Next to competitors, and next to the business itself, it reads as second-rate.
Poor mobile experience
Tiny text, cramped layouts and forms that fight the visitor, on the device most prospects are actually using.
Unclear messaging
The services, the customers and the reasons to choose you have moved on. The website still says what it said years ago.
Weak enquiry journeys
A single contact page at the end of the site, with nothing on the pages where a prospect is ready to get in touch.
It no longer matches the quality of the business
The company is established, trusted and growing. The website communicates something else.
Rebuild, not reskin
A proper redesign goes deeper than a new coat of paint.
Changing colours and fonts on a site with the wrong structure changes very little; a website refresh of that kind rarely lasts. We redesign the whole thing, then rebuild it.
Structure and messaging first
We work out what the site needs to say to the people who visit it, and how it should be organised, before anything is drawn.
Content carried across and improved
Pages and copy worth keeping are kept and sharpened. What is out of date is rewritten or removed.
Designed for the business you are now
A custom design that reflects the current company, not the one that commissioned the last website.
Rebuilt for mobile and speed
A fast, responsive build, tested on real devices, rather than a theme stretched to fit a phone.
Migration and redirects handled
Old URLs mapped to new pages so search visibility, links and bookmarks survive the change.
Launched without the drama
Testing, go-live and the technical SEO foundations in place, so the new site starts on solid ground.
How it runs
Simple process.Serious work.
Four steps from your current site to the new one. You deal directly with the person doing the work throughout.

What a redesign changes
A concept study of a fictional accountancy practice, showing the kind of transformation a redesign makes. It is not a client project, and it is labelled as such throughout.
Same business.Different first impression.
Drag to compare a dated site with its redesign. Concept work, clearly labelled.
Questions
Questions we are asked.
When should a business redesign its website?
When the website no longer represents the business. Common signs: it looks dated next to competitors, it is awkward on a phone, the services and messaging have moved on since it was written, or enquiries arrive despite the website rather than because of it. If you are embarrassed to send the link to a prospect, it is time. Whether you call it a website revamp or a full redesign, the test is the same: does the site still represent the business?
Do you redesign the existing platform or rebuild it?
Usually we rebuild. Most sites that need a redesign are on a platform or theme that is part of the problem, and a fresh build is faster and gives a better result than working around it. Content, pages and anything else worth keeping are carried across, and we tell you early if keeping the platform makes more sense in your case.
Will the redesign affect our SEO?
A redesign changes what search engines see, so it has to be planned. We map old pages to new ones, put redirects in place, keep or improve titles and content that already perform, and make sure the new site is technically sound before launch. Done this way a redesign should protect what you have; we do not promise ranking increases.
Can you improve just part of a website?
Sometimes. If the site is fundamentally sound and one area is letting it down, a focused piece of work can make sense. Where the underlying design, structure or platform is the problem, patching one page rarely fixes it, and we will say so rather than take the smaller job.
