Context

Fellbrook Joinery is a fictional business and this is a concept redesign, not a client project. The scenario: a manufacturer of high-end architectural joinery, supplying architects, builders and private clients.

The work is visual, tactile and expensive. In the scenario, the website shows it in 300-pixel-wide thumbnails.

02

Problem

A site like this undersells the work badly. Photography is small and poorly presented, there is no clear route for architects versus homeowners, and enquiries come through a generic form that asks nothing useful. An architect specifying a high-value joinery package would reasonably judge the workshop on those thumbnails.

03

Approach

Lead with the work. Large, full-bleed project imagery becomes the primary content, with clear paths for the two audiences and a structured enquiry form that captures the detail the workshop needs to quote.

04

Design

A dark, material palette lets photography carry the page. Type is set large and sparingly. The layout gives each project room to breathe rather than cramming everything above the fold.

05

Proposed outcome

The proposed website presents the joinery with the same care that goes into making it. Prospective clients can see the quality immediately and enquire with the right information first time.
